Moto Yamaha EC-1
Me acabo de topar con algunas fotos que Time Magazine presenta de los conceptuales más divertidos que se están presentando en el Auto Show de Tokyo.
Entre los 10 que presenta, hay 2 que realmente me llaman la atención por su concepto divertido y original.
Por un lado está la Yamaha EC-1, una moto conceptual con un diseño original y divertido. Hasta parece de juguete. Y lo destacado de esta motocicleta es que es eléctrica. El diseño realmente está futurista, con las curvas estilizadas y los colores blanco y amarillo que lucen muy llamativos. El hecho de que sea un vehículo de propulsión eléctrica permite hacer esos juegos en el centro del diseño y estilizar la parte trasera pues no tienes que preocuparte por escapes ni cadenas de tracción.
Pronto les presentaré otro conceptual más recien salido y divertido.

Eh, del escape de su moto claro está. Esta foto la encontré en Flickr como podrán ver en los créditos. Pero al principio pensé que era algún acróbata luciéndose en la moto (pueden apreciar en el fondo que el pavimiento ya tiene las marcas de la llanta), pero al observarla en su tamaño real me di cuenta que ¡es una chica!. Sí señores, es una chamacona que está luciéndose en su moto. Las flamas se ven geniales y el timing de la captura es preciso para apreciar el movimiento. Notarán que es una chica por el cabello y, obviamente, deja ver parte de su trasero.
Pero por si tienen dudas, pertenece a un grupo brasileño de Mujeres y Motos. Justo lo que nos encanta a este grupo de lectores del Blog Moto Fashion.

Esta es una de las fotos que hallo difíciles de encontrar. Se trata de una chica guapa en uniforme de colegiala posando con un auto. Anteriormente habíamos publicado algunas fotos de chicas colegialas y autos donde la mayoría son de una chica posando en un Audi y otra de una belleza presumiendo su bonito cuerpo en un auto show y otra morena en el autódromo.

Hoy me tomó por sorpresa una noticia sobre el fabricante Harley Davidson, ya que según AP (Associated Press), la empresa reportó su primer trimestre con pérdida en 16 años, debido a sus costos de reestructuración y la incipiente economía.
Tal vez nos hemos concentrado mas en los modelos y lanzamientos que ha hecho Harley Davidson (como los que usó con las chicas Maxim) y hemos dejado de lado que Harley Davidson ha estado reorganizando el negocio para hacer frente a la caída en la demanda de sus super motos. Ha despedido empleados, cerrado fábricas y descontinuado o vendido marcas que el público no quería o no eran rentables entre las que se encuentran MV Augusta y Buell, la primera habiéndola vendido en 109 millones mientras que la segunda fue descontinuada.
¿Y a cuanto asciende la pérdida de Harley Davidson? Nada menos que a $218.7 millones de dólares que comparados con la ganancia de $77.8 millones de un año antes resultan abrumadores.
¿Podrá Harley Davidson recuperarse pronto o vendrán más tiempos difíciles para el gigante de Milwaukee?
